By Subway (T-Bana)
Green line to Hötorget, exit toward Olof Palmes Gata. After passing the turnstiles, exit right (buggy ramp is available if you exit left, but cross to Sveavägen above ground). At top of stairs, turn right immediately on Tunnelgatan. Cross Luntmakargatan, and take the escalator, elevator or stairs up (don't go into the tunnel). At the top, turn left on Malmskillnadsgatan. The road will end after a half a block, and you will be facing Johannes kyrka (St. John's Church). Cross the street into the park and follow the tree-lined path that angles to the right, away from the church. There is a cemetery on the left. The path exits at Johannesgatan, and SIS is just across the street and to the left.

By Bus
There are several buses that come close to SIS. Refer to the bus map or SL map to find the exit and time schedule that best suit your needs. If you have a baby buggy or have trouble managing hills/stairs, you may want to approach via Sveavägen, and take the escalator/elevator as mentioned above.
Bus 43 passes on the east and west sides of Johannes Plan (St. John's Square). If you exit on the east side, you'll have to climb some stairs to get to Johannesgatan.
Buses 1 and 56 run south of the school along Kungsgatan at Sveavägen.
Bus 46 runs east of SIS along Birger Jarlsgatan. Take the two sets of stairs up, starting next to 7-11 on Jutas Backe. SIS is directly to the right.
Bus 55 runs even further east of SIS, necessitating a stroll through Humlegᅢᆬrden, and cutting through Iversonsgatan before you reach Birger Jarlsg 11 on Jutas Backe. SIS is directly to the right. Take the two sets of stairs up, starting next to 7-11.
Bus 52 runs east of the school along Sveavägen.
Driving
Driving to SIS is difficult, due to many one-way streets, severely restricted parking, and the sheer number of cars attempting to drop children off at SIS and at the French School across the square. Therefore, driving is highly discouraged. If you do drive, allow yourself plenty of time and remember that Johannesgatan runs one-way (south). You can get in by Döbelnsgatan/Kammakargatan/ Johannesgatan (from the north). There is no other way in. If you come from the south, park on Regeringsgatan behind the school and then take the stairs up to Johannesgatan, to our front door.
