Seventeen students from SIS have become the inaugural members of the SIS Spartans American football team. The boys, ranging in age from 7 to 13, have been training since January in preparation of their first season. The boys' season kicked off on May 2nd.
In the first half of their debut, Kevin Hermanson scored the first touchdown in Spartans' history! Although the boys are still in search of their first victory, they are having fun and getting better every week. The team would like to thank the SIS PTA for their generous support in supplying the boys with beautiful green jerseys that make us the best dressed team in the league!
