Last week the students from Grade 11 when on a field trip to Scania in Södertalje.
The students heard talks about the successful business practices of one of Sweden's most famous International company's and how they dealt with the financial crisis while continuing to make a profit.
As an employer Scania is proud that it employees nearly every type of professional "aside from a pilot and a priest". Students were explained the career pathways for young adults and met a graduate from one of the many scholarships Scania has each year.
This was followed by a tour of the factory where trucks were assembled and driven off the production line every 8-15 minutes.
A big thank you to the PTA and the CAS Coordinator Mr Engstrom-Roberts for organising the trip.
